I am shocked and appalled to learn that a number of people are spreading the vicious rumor that God 42 and the Pastafarian God, the Flying Spaghetti Monster are one and the same.
Such talk is vile blasphemy that insults Infinitiaty and all things Infinitian. Worse, it makes a mockery of our sacred religion in the eyes of those wretched souls who have not yet come to accept it. How can anyone take us seriously with assertions like that floating around unchallenged?
It is widely known that many of the Gods like to dress up and parade in our universe in other forms, so it is entirely possible that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is one of the infinite number of Gods. However, to suggest that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is God 42 is completely ludicrous.
God 42 is Not the Flying Spaghetti Monster
It is well known that God 42 abhors not just spaghetti, but all forms of pasta. In fact, She refuses to be seen in the company of any carbohydrates. If She knew that people were suggesting that She is the Flying Spaghetti Monster, She would be furious.
The rumormongers had better hope that God 42 has been too busy in one of her own universes or visiting the other Gods’ universes to have heard the rumors about her that have been circulating in our universe. Otherwise, there is going to be a whole lot of smiting going on. If you hear of any wars, earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons, fires, floods, plagues, famines, slayings of the first born or other disasters happening in the next little while, it’s a pretty good bet that it’s God 42 carrying out Her revenge on the wicked gossipers.
On the other hand, God 1537 is enthralled with pasta and considers it to be the most divine of all substances. Furthermore, He has a natural affinity for meatballs. Thus, it is entirely plausible that He might appear in our universe in the guise of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
The Chief Sage Officer of Infinitiaty spoke to God 1537 directly and pointedly asked Him if he is, indeed, the Flying Spaghetti Monster. God 1537 refused to either confirm or deny that he has assumed that identity.
I, for one, am glad that God 1537 is keeping that a secret. After all, what would religion be without its great mysteries?
